Unlike most of our competition, we do not charge upfront fees. We feel we should only be compensated for a completed deal and will also participate in the same structure as the seller. This approach places a heavy focus on establishing a solid relationship between the buyer and seller first and foremost.
Our target company is one with a successful track record of growth, strong management, and a reasonable expectation for its enterprise value. We represent companies in manufacturing, distribution, or wholesaling in which the owner is looking for an exit strategy or an equity partner. We encourage our sellers to be open to different structures, from asset to stock sales, and to stay on through a longer transition period from 2-4 years. Often, the right strategy is to partner with the new owners and participate in the growth of the company, in which they would retain some degree of ownership.
